Lois Jean, 70, of Louisville passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Baptist Health Louisville.

She was born March 2, 1943 in Louisville, the daughter of the late Theodore E. Fuchs and Helen F. Rothenburger Fuchs and was a retired switchboard operator for Central State. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, where she was just awarded, being the longest CCD teacher, having taught the class for over 35 years. Lois was also a proud member of the Red Hats Society.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by a brother, Fred Fuchs.

Lois is survived by her sister, Diane Yonts (Odra) of Louisville; her brother, William Fuchs (Gerry) of Washington, DC and several nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 212 Mt. Mercy Drive, Pewee Valley follows by burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road, East Louisville.
