Julia Mae Harris, 91, of Louisville passed away peacefully Thursday evening June 20, 2013 with family by her side.

She was born June 26, 1921 in Eastwood, KY, the daughter of the late Wilson Everett Harris and Mary Rachael Morris. Julia was a seamstress for Sher's Bridal, a member of Middletown United Methodist Church, member of Phi Beta Psi Sorority and Goodwill Industry Volunteers (GIVS).

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Lane; son, Mark Edward Clark and her seven siblings.

Julia is survived by a daughter, Charlene H. Clark McClain and her husband Barry; her two children, Jacqueline Noelle Lunte and Abigail Rachael McIntire (Daniel); step-daughter, Barbara Anderson Head and her husband Carl; their two children, John Charles Anderson (Lauren) and Carl Thomas Head, III. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Haile Grace Lunte and Tristan Clark Cook, as well as many nephews, nieces extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jun e 24, 2013 at Middletown United Methodist Church, 11902 Old Shelbyville Road with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Sunday at Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road, East Louisville.

Memorial gifts in the form of contributions may be made to Middletown United Methodist Church Youth Fund or Phi Beta Psi Cancer Sorority.
