Harold E., 82, of Louisville passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Westport Place Health Campus.

He was born February 2, 1931 in Breckenridge County, KY, the son of the late Franklin Beard Priest and Lucy Alma Nottingham Priest. Harold was an Assistant Terminal Manager for Overnite Transportation and a member of First Church of God of Anderson where he was treasurer for over 35 years.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Willett Priest.

Harold is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Janet Carman Priest; three daughters, Lisa Gail Morgan (Gregory) of Phoenix, AZ, Karen Renee' Bonn (Fred) and Susan Priest (Kevin Hendrickson), both of Louisville; his sister, Margaret Bennett of Vine Grove, KY; nine grandchildren, Rachel Carman Bufford (David), Bethany Lauren Bonn, Zachery Paul Morgan, Michael Paul Eichberger, Nathan Tyler Bonn, Nicholas Kyle Morgan, Christian Taylor Bonn, Ryan Clark Morgan and Madeline Grace Bonn and two great-grandsons, Hayden Warren and Hunter Randall Bufford.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Westport Place Health Campus and Hosparus and to the church family at First Church of God of Anderson, for their loving care and support.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 15 at First Church of God of Anderson, 4408 Taylorsville Road with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road, East Louisville.

Memorial gifts in the form of contributions may be made to the building fund at his church.
