Dan Gunnell, 64 of Louisville, passed away Monday.

He was a graduate of Western Kentucky University, a dedicated member of Middletown Christian Church, the Derby City Bop, Kentuckiana Blues Society, an avid music lover and an avid University of Louisville fan.

The greatest assets in his life were his wonderful family members, son; Daniel Hunter Gunnell, daughter; Jessica Siegel (Ted). He was Pawpaw to his grandchildren; Tatum, Emmie and Brody, a loving brother to Wayne (Lou), Sandra Donaldson (Herb) and Robert (Maria), and was a loving uncle to 4 nieces and nephews and great uncle to 8 great-nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be 12 noon Friday at Middletown Christian Church, 500 N. Watterson Trail at Blakenbaker Pkwy., with burial in Eminence (KY) Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 Thursday at Ratterman Brothers East Louisville Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Rd., and after 10 am Friday at Middletown Christian Church.
