SUNDBERG, Carl Alexander "Sonny", 73 of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, Aril 24, 2013.

Sonny was a graduate of Eastern High School, worked at Louisville Tin and Stove Company for 52 years and retired as the head of shipping. An avid bowler, he bowled two 300 games during his long career on the lanes. He also enjoyed fishing, softball, and golf, hitting a hole-in-one on August 5, 1987.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Rose Ann; sons, Don (Shelli) and John (Joanne) Ernst; four grandchildren, Nicholas, Sonny, Ethan, and Mei-Ni Ernst; brothers, Dan (Jane Ellen) and Donald (Jenny) Sundburg; nieces Mary Kay, Lee Ellen, Lauren, and Emily; and many cousins.

A Celebration of Sonny's life will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Ratterman Funeral Home East, 12900 Shelbyville Road with burial in Simpsonville Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 on Friday.
